Stars Above 102 Glass Wall Panel

The Stars Above 102 glass wall panel features a fully fused panel of art glass “painted” with frits and powders. Strips of blues, aqua and dichroic glass are arranged across the piece. Frits and  “stars” of clear iridescent glass are added on top, then tack-fused to the surface of the panel. Hidden standoffs mount the glass to a hand-brushed aluminum sheet. The piece is wired for easy hanging.

Each glass sculpture in this style is handcrafted to order by a Dallas, TX-based glass artisan. The artist fuses a collage of dynamic colors and shapes cut from iridescent transparent glass, layered together with dichroics cut into mosaics, blending in blown and fused glass shards for more visual energy. The artist strives to create art that is beyond her expectations, and those of her audience, leaving those who truly appreciate her art with an acclaimed “wow factor” that has gained national attention in the art world.
