This beautiful piece of functional art features a sturdy welded metal frame crafted by expert metallurgists. The shades are made from luxurious silk which comes from Jiangsu China. The outer layer is treated such that it folds as it dries, giving it a rich depth and elegance. The inner layer is smooth and provides added strength. The shade is treated with a fire retardant for safety and this product is UL listed.
