How to Order
This sink was made by one of the finest North American glass artists. The price has been reduced as these are archival sinks, one of a kind and experimental. The sink pictured above is the actual sink that would be shipped and once it’s sold, it will be removed from our resource.
The sink is made by fusing one or two thin sheets of colored glass between multiple sheets of clear glass. This gives the sink its breathtaking depth and profound beauty. Trapped air between the layers form tiny bubbles, which is intentional in that they add artistic distinction and a sense of mystery.
Once the layers of glass are fused together in the kiln, the entire piece is then slumped to create the sink form. After the sink has been annealed (cooled very slowly), the drain hole is bored and countersunk to accept the drain.
