At the beginning of Deborah's glass experience she found satisfaction in the technical aspects of glassblowing. Timeing was beautiful, the movements like a dance. While in a sandblasting workshop she began to "play" with imagery on glass. All Deborah's work fits into a framework of human possibilities, a picture book of glass. She sees it as a timeline beginning with human origins and archetypes. How we used to fit into the ecosystem and how life's balance of power has shifted into the present situation. Deborah's art satisfies her need to combine art, science, and storytelling alongside the human footprint through time.
